Food Processor Chooses Display Pack

Grand Rapids, MI – Display Pack announced that Grand Rapids based Pearson Foods, a just-in-time processor of more than 200 different fresh-cut fruit, vegetable and wholesale products for leading retail and food service customers across the Midwest has chosen Display Pack to develop and manufacture a vented sprout clamshell. Because the clamshell is footed it can stand on a shelf or hang on a tab. In addition, its new round flange design keeps cellophane from tearing when wrapped around the tray. The sprout clamshell made of FDA-approved RPET, is a modification on Pearson Foods’ existing product. The new packaging helps to better merchandise the packaged item while affording greater protection for the product.
